I much appreciate the Essexians for coming up with a temporary list of questions.

  1. Edgar Allan Wright I can't but help notice that the last ? Is not speculative. Meaning there is a clear black and white answer to this ?. This would lead me to believe that the answer is no we shouldnt trust her.

Yes I know we can answer the ?s but that one struck me as particularly odd

  2. It's like the old saw about headlines with questions: the implied answer is no

  3. Jim Typhoon agreed. Just wondering why we would be led in the direction

  4. Up to which difficulty should we answer these question from "palm of our hand"? The point is, that my request to join was accepted without passing such test (not sure who approved it).
The one posted on that time, I would mostly answer without issues, maybe with minimal research on G+ (to not misspell names or to recall them).
But in this one are little more where I am not sure...or will need such research to recall some facts. (from last medium up :-/ )

  5. did anyone every contemplate the V. HARD (Speculation): Who is the Daedalus of Ingress?

In Greek mythology, Daedalus /di:dəlɪs/ or /dɛdəlɪs/ (Ancient Greek: Δαίδαλος or Daedalos, meaning "clever worker"; Latin: Daedalus; Etruscan: Taitale) was a skillful craftsman and artisan.[1][2] He is the father of Icarus and Iapyx and the uncle of Perdix.

He created a dancing ground for Ariadne, the Labyrinth in Crete, a wooden cow to be used for mating, and of course the wings that were his son's downfall.

Wikipedia mentions this his about him, "This story thus encourages others to consider the long-term consequences of their own inventions with great care, lest those inventions do more harm than good. "

So if we go with an inventive creator whose inventions maybe were well meant at the beginning and then later had bad consequences, I would go for someone like Dr. Lynton-Wolfe.

Although, if we go with the father son pathway, I could almost see Calvin as Daedalus and gave his son, Dr. Lynton-Wolfe, the "wings" he wanted but alas, the son flew too high and was burned.

    Other thoughts?

  6. OLW seems a good choice in this regard. he built the labyrinth that he is now enmeshed in, like Daedalus.

  7. Not sure. Maybe it's not applicable that far. And Daedalus does escape from the labyrinth by way of his own invention.
