Essexians: This is important.

Essexians: This is important. After extensive hunting, I have come into possession of some of Hank Johnson's notes from the period in Graduate School when Dr. Calvin hired him to study 13MAGNUS. There are some cryptic references that come to mind. Diodati Epiphany and Volcanic Winter.  They were the first notes in his journal and thus might be a good place to begin looking for his bread crumbs (referred to by, I believe Calvin, this summer).  I believe Johnson planted these in an attempt to reconstruct not only his memories, but his thought stream after the recent recursion.

I will be combing the notes for more information. We have no records of where Hank travelled during that time.  I must piece it together.  It is my belief that he might have left 'breadcrumbs' in those portals.

  1. Thanks Edgar Allan Wright, we'll get right on it.

  2. Diodati reminded me of a reference to Switzerland in a Chuck Palahniuk novel.  Sure enough there is a Villa Diodati there which was referenced in the book.  Not sure but that could connect to Zurich as well.

  3. The closest portal to the Diodati villa appears to be Byron's Meadow which makes reference in the portal description to Mary Shelley's Frankenstein being born there. "On this very spot the story of “Frankenstein” was born. During the summer of 1816, the weather was atrocious, cold and rainy spells alternating with violent thunder storms. At that time Byron, a 28 year old poet, was renting the villa Diodati situated to the left of this meadow. From the terrace of the house, overlooking the lake, he was inspired to write: “There was a time when I enjoyed listening to the roaring Ocean, but your gentle babbling moves me like a sister’s voice blaming me for having sought evil dissipation.”"

  4. Byron wrote a poem called Darkness, that happened in the Year Without a Summer (1816) that references a Volcanic Winter.

  5. Diodati was a contemporary of Milton and a Bible translator.

  6. Diodati may have a related portal in Geneva. Do we have any investigators who can verify?

  7. Edgar Allan Wright What about the map that was found within the last Ingress Report?  There where Darsana emblems marked on it throughout an area of the Middle East.  (UAE, Pakistan, Afghanistan)  Are those also clues to this breadcrumb trail?
