The Disposition of Carrie Campbell's corpse was even more mysterious.

P. A. Chapeau was the last person known to me who saw it.  A graphic image created by Tycho C. is the only known image of her corpse in a morgue in Chicago.

I checked the records. Carrie’s death is listed as suicide by unknown cause and technically remains a cold case with the CPD. I inquired where she had been buried or cremated. Somehow, 'the bureaucracy' had managed to 'misplace' that information. Big surprise.

There is no active investigation despite the unusual circumstances of her death and the events leading up to it.  I’m not blaming the police. Not every mystery is solve-able and those within the Niantic Investigation are probably better equipped to understand the true nature of this case than a conventional police force anyway.

It should be noted that her death happened at approximately the same time as the incident that led to Klue and ADA become a unified mind. It was when we were just beginning to learn about Glyphs and their power. There was both opportunity and fear in the air.

The events during the Teeth of the Hydra era of the investigation are seeming very relevant to both my investigation today and to other recent events (particularly Loeb’s attempt to separate Klue and ADA’s minds.)

  1. I haven't bought the Carrie Campbell story from day one. Remember all the condolences posts by virtually every relevant G+ profile? That reeked of selling a story to divert attention.

  2. If Niantic had Carrie Campbell's body in storage and the woman on the ground was her mind and spirit embodied as a simulacrum then she could still be in a cell producing work on demand for the NIA. All they would have needed to do was pull the vessel out of storage to sell the cover story. No medical examiner would believe there was a kidnapping when he had a body in front of him.

  3. Did Carrie somehow provide support for the connection between Klue and ADA, not just the creation of it, but all the time while it lasted? And now that connection has been broken and the 'support' is no longer needed, will she return?

  4. Reexamining the events of The Teeth of the Hydra it seems obvious that the N'zeer were behind the self destruct sequence and thus Carrie's sacrifice. Devra Bogdanovich postulates that there may be multiple civilizations and the need to shut it off due to the pernicious effects observed during her human trials..
