I am meditating today on the 'rules of nests.'  We know that the Peshawar Anomaly was a 13Magnus Nest.  I suspect, strongly that there was such a place in the Valley of the Dead (if memory serves, that was the name of Yuri's Anomaly).  I believe Jahan's palace to be such a place near Pune (and have frequently wondered about the rules of time and dimension there).  What other nests either 13MAGNUS or ANTI-MAGNUS have we identified?

  1. I wonder if the Luizi Crater counts as a nest? It was such a bizarre place with advanced structures and lots of Chaotic Matter, perhaps it was a nest at one time.

  2. You mean besides CERN? I suspect the caddo and cahokians might have had their own.

  3. Dr. Edgar Allan Wright: :

I agree with J.J. Ramirez and Mike Wissinger.

Hmm. I've always considered places somehow tied to myths of immortality to be related to 13MAGNUS or Anti-MAGNUS.

I oncce theorized that Paris might have held something, having been the home of the legend of Nicholas Flamel:

A traveler came into possession of a mysterious book. When he traveled to Spain in 1378 to obtain translation on that novel, the sage told him he was the owner of a legendary book called The Book of Abramelin The Mage.   That owner dedicated the next 4 years with his wife to unraveling the mysterious behind the novel. In the process, he would rise to become a legend that to this day is associated with Immortality.

That man was Nicholas Flamel. I want Hank to go to Paris and follow the history of Flamel. There, somewhere between the pages of his story lies XM.

EDIT: I've also discovered these interesting stories of those who've tried to achieve immortality: http://io9.com/7-ways-that-people-died-trying-to-become-immortal-1691947345

  4. Another, I guess, Rule of a Nest is that it seems that the rituals needed to bring the N'zeer here can only be performed at a Nest.

I wonder just how Nests are created.

  5. Well if what they said about the 13Magnus nest is true, a sensitive is needed for the nest to open.

  6. how do nests tie to shapers?  Meaning if they are needed to bring N'Zeer - do they link as well to shapers?

Also - in the video that shows Devra disappearing - the nest was showing as having XM activity?

Also - the footage Hank Johnson shot of his entrance into the cave as part of his Nomad series - the whispering and the odd electronic interference - do those apply to all nests as well?

Also - hank was NOT at a Nest when he recursed (as seen here) - correct?  So a simulacra can be anywhere and then end up back at the nest?

Also - maybe looking at the old DOD reports of Hank's first disappearance might give some more information about Nests

  7. So, what are some of the rules regarding guardians and protection of a nest? The pehawar anomaly was consistently dangerous to enter. It was implied that unless you were a friend of the Anazktec then the Valley of the Dead was dangerous as well. Is danger (or the presence of guardians) a requirement (or is it just a consequence of the value of a known nest)?
I ask because Martel's Chamber (and some of the other spots mentioned) was not dangerous, and I doubt a popular tourist spot would play long term host to a simulacrum's body.

  8. I feel that the Nests are originally Atlantean technology. The roots of the 13Magnus/AntiMagnus divide may lay in the fall of Atlantis and its aftermath.

Edgar Cayce, who I strongly suspect was himself XM sensitive (and the Akashic another name for the Ultimate) gave an account of two factions battling to control Atlantis in its final days.

According to Cayce, two rival parties fought for control of the Atlanteans in its final days. One faction believed in stewardship of the land, and the other in exploitation of natural resources. The flashpoint of their conflict was a slave race held by the latter, which the first faction wished to uplift and enlighten. Those who escaped Atlantis created archives to maintain their civilization, of two types corresponding to their affiliation.

I suspect that the basis of the Nest is this; and the recursion/simulacrum process is in fact an Atlantean information storage and retrieval mechanism.

  9. I suspect Machu Picchu was the site of an ancient nest at one time. The tales of god-like beings (N'zeer maybe) appearing and suddenly disappearing.

  10. Teotihuacán: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teotihuacan was definitely a nest. Having explored the ruins before I can tell you it's a place of great power. I'd love view it now with an XM scanner. It must glow with all the XM pouring out of it

  11. Arecibo (Puerto Rico) seems to be a 13Magnus nest, dont you think?

  12. so the nests seem to be related to not only sites of power, but also sites of resurrection?

  13. Daniel Tao One element of Nests is that they appear to be caves, valleys, low places, deep places.

Descending into the earth is a metaphorical concept for separation from the divine: the unworthy part left behind. Emerging from the tomb is another symbol yet. What does it mean when the tomb is empty?

  14. Maybe the Huaca Pucllana temple in Lima, Peru?

  15. What criterion are you using to distinguish 13Magnus and Antimagnus?
