Suspicion grows in me that Amaziah might be rogue antimagnus.

Suspicion grows in me that Amaziah might be rogue antimagnus. Prime artifact hunter.  And hunted.  I have no proof, but when I gazed on that ancient artwork of Jahan and Azmati's families, I saw one in the picture who might have been him, recursing and recursing through time.  I have no objective means to confirm this. But the Lovecraftian overtones, Mustafa's suggestions and Misty forms a pattern or maybe the pattern is, like so many patterns, an illusion. Does anybody see what I see?

  1. Dr. Edgar Allan Wright and I were speaking about Amaziah and he also mentioned this:

Necromantic Researcher. Robert E. Howard. H.P. Lovecraft.  Bridgewater Triangle.  The mysterious antimagnus. Does anything ever die? I think not. And the strange appearance of Misty Hannah.  And yes.  The connection of Prime Artifacts and the unseen world. Or maybe the unseen world is the world of the Shapers and the N'zeer.

A unity is forming in my mind.  Am I insane or are you seeing the same thing?

  4. With a name like Lachish, connected to ancient findings with divine/sacred elements, I would say your onto something Edgar Allan Wright. If there have been two opposing organizations through the years, there must have been individuals that represent something else, such as the arms dealers.

  5. We are all connected in time and space and some cultures pray that we are all related from different ages and connected through different objects and unsolved issues. Maybe it's just the occasion for all of us to remember, when we met before?

  6. What I clearly see is an attempt to assume alignment of the the Anti-Magnus and the N’zeer with Resistance as a whole.  This is pretty far from the truth and makes me shake my head with doubt.  Essentially this would mean that Amaziah is a rogue entity held up on high pedestal and praise by Resistance.  This is simply not true.

  7. Necromantic researcher. Prime artifacts rebuilt over and over to bind entangled XM structures. Patterns of the dead passing on the memories of how and why. I think I see where you're going.

  8. Niko M there are ranges within any alignment - whether it be Resistance and Enlightened or 13Magnus and Antimagnus - splits happen because ideologies rarely every 100% match - many organizations have smaller subgroups within them - it could be curious that 13Magnus and Antimagnus may go beyond alignments - Calvin in a couple of documents even mentioned the potential for 13magnus to be more of members within other groups...

  9. A rogue Anti-Magnus might be someone who is attempting to steal the fruits of the N'zeer teachings without allowing them in. Sounds like a good plan.

There is however danger here. The "starry wisdom" offered by the likes of Cthulhu is itself irrelevant in the broader scheme, as to the Great Old Ones humanity is itself irrelevant. Merely opening the door a crack to listen is all they require of us in order to arrive in their fullest: and after that point, we are dust in the wind.

  10. Niko M There's also the discoveries Stein Lightman made involving the Enlightened and Resistance Shaper Glyphs: Two versions of each. A variant Glyph, representing a different perspective on the ideologies of both factions: https://plus.google.com/+SteinLightman/posts/gb9P72MAFwQ

Is it a bad idea to assume that Jahan, Amaziah and the Anti MAGNUS are simply following the other ideological version of Resistance?

One of them represents those who seek to utilize Exotic Matter, the Portals and the Ordered Data Signal to further a human-centric cause. In practice, they choose to utilize the Ingress Scanner to build Resistance Portals, Links and Fields, using this tool for what they believe is the betterment of mankind.(MuMu note-let's call this Type A) The other represents a more fundamental view towards Exotic Matter and its manifestations, i.e. that XM is intrinsically problematic, dangerous, a threat to mankind and must be stopped. This interpretation would of course be in line with Dr. Bogdanovich's thinking(MuMu note-let's call this Type B.).

  11. #Anti-Magnus #AntiMagnus History repeats itself. The event we see are simply the past replaying all over. Maybe we as agents can change the course of history.

  12. QuantumIngressEffectIngress QuantumEffect I can absolutely see a disadvantage in "improving human understanding": the Lovecraftian "secrets man was not meant to know". The knowledge of XM is knowledge that has the potential for great change for humanity. It is reasonable that some people might see danger in this change, indeed, that is the position held by many doctrinaire Resistance.

Consider the debate between Dr. Joanna Brandt and Dr. Victor Kureze:

  13. She switched the subject of her inquiry to ADA in the Abolendum report, possibly after uncovering direct links between how the NIA used XM and its AI toolset.

  14. Devra Bogdanovich's misgivings about XM can be said no better than her speech at the conclusion of Interitus Gettysburg, where she said that she feared what the Resistance had unleashed.

The fact that she was captured by the N'zeer and turned into their representative as Jarvis was by the Shapers is something of a tragedy.

  15. Edgar Allan Wright. About patterns and that it could be an illuson (lovecraft overtones). It's the brain job to find patterns everywhere. To complete the puzzle even speculating. Saying it could be an illusion I understand that we must leave that hypothesis (Am I right?).
