Is this the face of Obsidius? I am on a very hot trail right now. Am assured of some safety.

ReplyDeleteCould be, however is odd the kind of image for pre-Columbian in Mexico. Maybe Diego Lopez can bring something interesting to this discussion.

ReplyDeleteVery interesting. It strikes me that so much of what we know of the ancient Romans comes from their buildings. Records of where the Romans visited, but did not settle, would be scant. This pottery and Roman amphorae and coins in the Americas and Africa demonstrate the distances that a determined Roman could have travelled. We should perhaps prepare ourselves for the possibility that Obsidius and his companions travelled to some surprisingly distant locations.
