Obsidius Story as narrated by the Acolyte?
1. Over 2000 years ago a Roman explorer named Obsidius was dispatched on a mission by a mysterious order known to us today as the Vesuvius Magnus.
2. Obsidius was a sensitive. he found artifacts placed in a time before days were numbered.
3. By unknown hands, guided by the N'zeer, an entity infinitely distant and yet omnipresent.
4. Friend to Titus, the explorer's mission was to collect the arrowheads for what we know as the obsidian shield.
5. He knew not the exact purpose of those arrows only that he must find and secure them.
6. Obsidius navigated the earth from the blazing sands of North Africa to the icefields of Germainia, from the steaming jungle valley of South Africa to the bustling port of Shanghai.
7. Two travelled with Obsidius, a guide known as Syphax who could speak any language and an oracle named Cybella who could hear voices.
8. Syphax carried within his own agenda and mission, and killed many to keep the secret of the shield.
9. Cybella left behind prophecies that were not to unfold for a millenia.
10. Even now only part of the truth is known. What is believed is that the purpose of the shield is to wall off our world.
11. But that is only a belief shared by some, others have their own interpretations.

13. Ominous that these arrows fill the negative space with the coffins of Abaddon.
