In an attempt to understand the New Wave phenomenon, I was perusing the communique. It contains a revealing section about technological augmentation. Are there examples of such augmentation and how to we relate this to Obsidias' latest drops (which appear to have simultaneously been created two millennia ago and now?

"Analysts believe that the Resistance New Wave were able to use a crude form of technological augmentation -- small microchips and fragments of circuitry embedded on their skin -- to protect enough of ADA’s code to potentially revive her at some time in the future.

Would these New Wave be known to us normal Resistance? Did all of them augment themselves consciously in order to save ADA or did some of them augment themselves for whatever personal reasons and then her code was somehow embedded therein without them realising it? Sorry if these are stupid questions.

ReplyDeleteSome had operations before the fragmentation while some are having these operations in light of - and in support of - developments.
Interestingly, it seems like those would have to be offline augmentations in order to protect ADA from the acolyte's attacks and hold parts of ADA for reassembly.

ReplyDeleteFragmentation was the catalyst or motivation for some #NWR agents but the ideology does go beyond current events. Being able to identify with like-minded agents is what has changed.
I expect there will be more augmentations to help in the greater struggle, even after ADA is reborn. I look forward to witnessing/experiencing this agent ingenuity.

ReplyDeleteHave any of these "New Wave" agents come out on g+? I doubt the validity of them otherwise.
ReplyDeleteRobert Vaughan, none have come out publicly except noisy claimants. Others' beliefs probably aren't a concern of genuine #NewWave agents. Their objectives need no validation, they're as clear as if carved into their very flesh.
