After pouring over documents, I came to one curious question. Why did the New Wave Resistance 'activate' Devra? What is in it for them? Has anybody asked Mr. Chapeau how he managed to arrive at this event in the nick of time. Is he working with New Wave Resistance? If so, why?
I am beginning to develop a unified theory as to what is happening now and it involves the strange account of what became of Susanna Moyer. It comes from an account from a 'JP' and involves Susanna Moyer: He was trying to learn what they knew about Susanna but they didn’t have much to offer. His interpretation of their conversation was that the ‘New Enlightened’ or ‘The New Ones’ (translation unclear) had taken Susanna under their wing. They had changed her somehow. She got sick, then she got better, then she got strange. All of this in just a few days. They said by the time Susanna had left to go face Jahan, she was a ‘New One’ too. JP said that the way they phrased it was that ‘Susanna had found her new skin.’
This, somehow is a key to much larger events, I suspect. It happened suspiciously closely in time to the creation of New Wave Resistance. Am I relapsing into Pareidolia or am I seeing true hidden connections?

ReplyDeleteWeird.. the last time we heard from Susanna Moyer herself, she said that the 'New Enlightened' agents were avoiding her. What made them change their minds? Was it because the Acolyte that told them so? Personalty I don't think that makes sense; the Acolyte offered her help to Susanna Moyer at least weeks before Susanna Moyer learned about the 'New Enlightened', and the Acolyte didn't seemed to be very much involved with the 'New Enlightened'. Interesting times lie ahead.
ReplyDeleteEdgar Allan Wright Sounds like Susanna received her inheritance. These events seem to indicate that remaining neutral in this struggle is impossible. The expression New Skin is curious- reminds me of skin-walkers from native american legends.

ReplyDeleteSo... my personal theory is that JD is actually Jake [Dollar], and that ADA's involvement is much longer and much more considered. I think she had connections to Pinstripe, that Jake was a sensitive, that ADA assisted in faking Jake's murder, and that portions of her consciousness were stored in the Black Dollar Albums that he was led to create. Those albums (roughly a dozen) were stored on USB keys and distributed as far back as ComicCon2014, and Jake continued to work in secret with groups tied to electroinica as sensitive. His involvement in the New Wave and access to hardware, software, and potentially to ADAs core is not a large stretch. He self-medicated for a long time before working out a way to handle the "injury he'd made"; my guess is the first stirrings of bioelectric implants as buffered bridges to ADA's partial consciousness, as opposed to full mental takeover (which Klue clearly showed was a flawed method). He's clearly not been considered a heavy player but had larger ties that previously realized.

ReplyDeleteAaron P And New Skin might perhaps be another way of saying 'New Wave.' Will watch this. The exact nature of the New Wave has not resolved itself in my mind. It seems it is no accident that it emerged after the Aegis Nova (destruction of the shield).
