I fear that by even posting these thoughts you will begin to think that my mind has regressed to its previous state. I am holding onto sanity carefully, but I can not repress this thought. Suppose there really is an Miskatonic University but the reality of it is hidden in a slight transdimensional warp from the real university and that the key to it is either found in XM infusion or some form of primal object?
Perhaps that is where the Howcraft Tectulu manuscript was for the better part of a century and somebody broke into what is commonly believed to be a fictional place and returned. As I suggested, you might think I've descended into madness, but this is my thought.

That's real. Sure, it's possible... the questions would then be how much or what type of XM do we need to find it or what primal object will open the way to it.
ReplyDeletePerhaps it is a combination of XM and a Primal Object or a glyph sequence or a portal opening sequence... That is unknown. I am not an expert in Lovecraft. Was Mikatonic University based on a real place or was it entirely a fictional construct?
ReplyDeleteThere is some suggestion that it was Saint Anselm College: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_Anselm_College
ReplyDeletePocket dimensions? Like small splinters off of the main world? Invisible doors, with secret keys. Clearly some are known, the 13Magnus Nest, the Acolyte's Compound but I wonder if we ever pass through some of them without even realizing... Might some people live or work in them without knowing it. Imagine an entire university...
ReplyDeleteThe key can be found using XM infusion? Sounds familiar Susanna Moyer
ReplyDeleteMaybe we need a lesson from Professor K
ReplyDeleteSaint Anselm College motto is really terrifying... Fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom...
ReplyDeleteThe key is the scanner. Use it
ReplyDeleteI read about Dr. Viktor Kureze's phase shift theory and developed tried to explain how a glyph sequence could open the door between reality and imagination.

Maybe these thoughts could be helpful.
Salvador Rojas Very. Very Howcraftian.

ReplyDeleteThe key was lost in Uqbar.
ReplyDeletePerhaps Lovecraft advertised his books as "fiction" when in fact they were based on real things and events, slightly altered and/or embellished. Maybe to spread the word without alerting too much attention from the wrong crowd? Subconsciously making his readers aware of some primal hidden truths?
ReplyDeleteWhatever happened to the Prime Artifact that was being pursued in central America? Do you think it might resurface soon?
ReplyDeleteAaron Almeida The Wind Jewel? Hank Johnson and Jahan used it to open the ABADN chamber. It is most likely still with Hank Johnson. http://exotic-matters.blogspot.hk/2015/12/awakening.html
ReplyDeleteAre prime artifacts one time use items? Or do they have like a reset time?
ReplyDeleteHas anyone visited the Anselm of Canterbury portal yet at St Anselm's College?https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/iSo5B650q0Fibuw2xVR_V1mKAivN9BQ74oAWqx1PEgRHQB3ssLmqDv2Y1F8S67NkbXk7HdL_vt8hn-Y9OVlN6N0MXvZ_nFY0Alc=s0
