It appears that a great deal happened at 13MAGNUS: Reawakening.

It appears that a great deal happened at 13MAGNUS: Reawakening. It will undoubtably take some time to debrief and assimilate our findings, but it would be wise to start today while the events of Camp Navarro are fresh in our minds. Of note to me are the revelations of the Remote Participation 'Game' and the rather curious serendipitous or synchronistic events (musket balls and revelation of the Abaddon Magnus). And if you have not observed the Tecthulhu, it is worth doing as soon as a complete link is available. I have heard they were quite extraordinary.

What did you -- whether onsite or remote -- find most striking?

  1. Definitely a lot to process between the RPG, the Techthulus (and what they mean for interfacing with the portal network) and other rumors of a new scanner leak... Hard to say that any one of those was more striking than the others.

  2. The presence of glyphs was overwhelming. Every display had them and they were clearly set for maximum impact. Virid Cascadia's were even invisible to the naked eye!

  3. The RPG was beyond anything I've ever heard of in this investigation.

It reminds me of Anomalies, where particular activity can influence an event, but this was on a totally different scale.

Take the second event with Hank Johnson into account: the Niantic Project lab, overrun with Chaotic Matter-influenced HAZDATA operatives and a group of Agents who somehow managed to enter that particular moment in time are now tasked with getting out from the lab...I think. (I'll have to update this with the specific details later or perhaps somehow on site can correct me.)

It goes beyond Anomalies. Instead of influencing the Portal Network in order to influence events, Agents can now directly be at them.

  4. That NCC1701d got banned was quite a strike #freeouragents

  5. Edgar Allan Wright what I found most striking were a few of the things found at Navarro, like musket balls lodged into a tree.

  6. The carvings onsite were incredible. A friend played the RPG and saw a prime object, later the same artifact was found on top of one of the intricate carvings. Look at them closely and you will see amazing images.

  7. There were so many things that were striking to me. From the beautiful artwork to just the feeling of being there... It seemed we were much more of a family there, as if this were the place we were all meant to be and leaving it was hard... The RPG has forever changed my views, and even now I'm trying to recover from it all... I don't feel as connected to my scanner anymore, it's an odd feeling.

  8. Another way to spread the lore without scanner dependence

  9. Perhaps the spotty wifi was meant to create this effect and cause agents to be more directly influenced through the medium of Tecthulhu.
