As it appears that Misty is rising on the Essex Radar, a couple questions come to mind... Have we identified either the assassin or whoever hired the assassin to kill her at the Magic Castle AND, do we know who assassinated the Assassin.

I am not sure that any of this was ever resolved. I am hoping that I am wrong. I am curious about her 'demons'. It seems that historically magicians have been plagued by demons (I conclude this after a study of vintage magic posters). And what is the relationship between demons and exogenous entities?

Forgive me for so many questions.

  1. Hmm, I was thinking it was an old Las Vegas mob-like hitman that was looking to snuff out Misty on account of some old debts or something. My guess was that it was a Mind-Hacked 855 that took him out before he got the chance. An paid IOU from A Detection Algorithm

  2. Regarding the questions, +Edgar Allan Wright, I do not think I have any
kind of answer to give - personally, I have no knowledge of the facts you
are referring to +Misty Hannah, if not what I managed to find out and read
just too late about the facts.

The more familiar for me the reference you make between mage and demons.
But there is no way to stop once this road is gone: the grid of glyphs
seems to derive its origins from sacred geometry, as already explained in
more than an investigation on Essex, just as the Ingress' glyphs themselves
incredibly remember the magic symbols built for circles of evocation.
For all the european middle-ages, wizards who can recall existences
and essences of other dimensions used and cataloged signs like those we use
    to operate on the portalnetwork.
I do not want to find that even those mentioned in the many magical texts
of our medieval age are their exogenous entities - perhaps, the same as we
    know as N'zeer, or Shapers.

  3. The hitman was most likely one of J.A Potts' members. Potts, if you will recall, had a grudge against Misty for escaping his clutches with the help of Calvin. He swore revenge on her. The Andy Nominus screenplay on this event is out there.

But the hitman wasn't sent to the Castle by Potts that night.

  4. Those of Misty Hannahs archetype are more tuned into the suggestions of exogenous entities. "The Green Flash" experience she had as a child is a prime example of this. I would argue that her sensitivity to XM goes both ways. Just as she is able to reach out and tune into the history of an object, entities are able to reach out to her mind and send her images due to the "open channel" state of her mind. "Demons" is not an entirely accurate word used, but it is a word used to describe these entities because they are unknown. The reality is they are exogenous in nature, whether Nzeer or Shapers or another yet to be revealed force.

  5. The one who assassinated the assassinator that should assassinate the assassinator of the one assassinating Misty... he came to early. So now it is easy for assaxians to find out who was the one assassinating her.

  6. I support Mustafa Said theory. From my records it was Dino Pallisti, one of J.A. Potts hitman. He was killed instead. All clues lead to A Detection Algorithm, She was very likely responsible for Pallisti's death.

  7. i also support mustafa said theory, and i think that know more of she say.

  8. Which specific images on these posters led you to this conclusion?

  9. The assassin could be tied to Misty's former dealings https://plus.google.com/u/0/+NianticProject/posts/fkjkneCj2jM or to her Niantic - plus.google.com - Ken Owens: The New Boss. I've been having a hard time positioning this tran... . I created a mission in the area that tried to tie thing together regarding the assassin. As to who killed the assassin, I have my suspicions and I think it was a player we know.
