WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THE HOWCRAFT DOCUMENT, and were we to tie it to the challenge, what would it be? Of course, we will have a more complete answer should the rest of the document appear, but for now, what are we to make of the Tears of Mnemosyne? Does this overlap with DunRaven?

  1. Edgar Allan Wright, sorry for being dense, but what challenge? The XM anomaly result was that Hank would be resonating Blue. Enl control like 8 Recursion Artifacts and Res 13. I hope the factions let him have all 21... he's going to need them.

  2. Edgar Allan Wright sorry, i wrote that mid thought... the Tears have to be the Recursion Artifacts to me.

  3. It's very hard to gather my thoughts on this. The thing that strikes me the most about the Tears is they're history honestly. They were named after a muse of memories that honestly sounds very close to an archetype. She was so well known that she was labeled as a queen... I'd like to note here, in greek history Mnemosyne was a Goddess of memory. They were formed of beings that weren't human and were most likely Exogenous. I am wondering if Mnemosyne herself is the one that actually created them. And if so I am wondering if we will ever be able to know what their original memories were to these artifacts.

  4. Ishira Tsubasa, I agree, their origin is probably exogenous. Most likely the creation of an entire Magnus, i don't think it could be only one archtype in play at creating such things.

  5. Ignore that last comment I think the tears are from the river of Mnemosyne instead. But I'm still confused on why it's split between 21 different artifacts.... I'm still curious if the artifacts can hold others memories as well and what would happen if one person used them multiple times.

As far as how it's connected to dunraven.... I have to think on that a bit more

  6. If we could develop things like artifacts through Dunraven's research ...

  7. The Tears of Mnemosyne... now I read it again. I have to process this...

"He knew that these artifacts, known in the book of Past Future contained things that echoed from the mist shrouded past and reverberated back from the glimmering future, but were valuable in the now for the past, present, future"

Are they connected to the Ultimate and/or Substrate? Can they contain the memories of the recursed simulacra? Of all of them of just a specific one or ones?

Wendy did flew to Austin to meet PAC. But an invisible hand sent PAC to Hong Kong and Hank to Austin. Hank, who was about to Recurse and had access to the Tears. Jahan wanted them some centuries ago.

Indeed Edgar Allan Wright , we may have ourselves a connection. I can feel it in the shadows.

  8. Please forgive me that I can not express my thoughts on all of your questions.
When the rest of the document comes out, I think that a more complete answer will be obtained.
I think that "tears of Mnemosyne" will continue. The content being treated is an ancient event. You can know the past of Jahan and Azmati's clan. Although it is ordinary, I think that it should be treated as one of precious materials.
I do not know if overlap with Dunraven is doing. But if you are overlapping, it's very exciting.

  9. Debora Indeed. Mnemosyne is the Muse of Memories.

  10. Ishira Tsubasa Indeed, what archetype would she be?

  11. Luís Romudas Excellent observation. We must begin searching in the shadows.

  12. 樹栗田 :Yes. It appears that what happens in one temporal node is often truth for what happens in another temporal node. It is learning to decrypt that is the key.
