Brilliant day, yesterday.

Brilliant day, yesterday. First off, excuse me for not knowing about the release of book 3. I have been immersed in studies. Indeed, when did Calvin get involved? Was he the puppet or the puppeteer?  Is he Abaddon?  Fascinating questions.  Brilliant work.

But yes. When did it begin for Calvin? I'm not sure we know enough to answer that, but his trail is fascinating to follow?  And, relevant to this week, where does, did, Kureze fit in?  It doesn't seem that he was a simulacra at Niantic.

Comments

  1. Kureze was found bloody but with no entry wound. We assumed his head wound was self inflicted to the forehead. What if his body was self repairing like Jarvis? Could he have been shot from behind?

  2. Edgar Allan Wright.sir kureze was the investigator resposblable for the found of xm... I think they want.to.bring it back to discover more about the dark xm... That's my opinion

  3. Dr. Edgar Allan Wright, I believe it was Yik Sheng Lee who theorized that Nigel Moyer might have been the one to introduce Calvin to the Anti MAGNUS.

  4. More than a puppet or a puppeteer. In my opinion, Calvin is not beenn manipulatted but he is makeing a "horse trading ( https://niantic.schlarp.com/documents:horsetrading)" with Nigel. . As Yik Sheng Lee said, in some aspects, he looks like Nigel's apprentice.
But the best way for to manipulate It is to be apparently manipulated.
About kureze, yik's theory looks good for me.

  5. In #IngressOrigins Dr. Kureze is shown being forcibley removed from professing at some college campus. And in those frames of the book it looks like he is carried out in the same fashion as the professor in one of the early Niantic Project investigation board videos. Was it Kureze in that video???

  6. Daniel Beaudoin Woah. Kureze was pulled out? Hmm. Was it Calvin who dragged him out?

Man, you'd think Calvin would have just approached him after class or something. :p

  7. My theory for Kureze is that he was simply human up until the Glyph incident with Roland Jarvis' body. That's the moment that his world changed. His natural proficiency was tapped into for years with many of these projects (Niantic, Whydah, etc.), but he finally gained equal footing with the sensitives with that Glyph.

  8. J.J. Ramirez So drawing the glyph on Jarvis' body made him into a simulacra?

Very interesting. I didn't even consider that as an idea.

  9. Wasn't he among the active sensitive on Epiphany Night, though?

  10. Mike Wissinger Indeed. He was present. If the idea that Epiphany Night created the simulacrum Researchers, then possibly tampering with Jarvis' body using the Shaper Glyph could have tampered with his own simulacrum state?

  11. If glyphs work by triggering receptors in the brain of an observer that makes a lot of sense. He may have thought it would alter the body when in fact it only changed the live observer in the room: himself.

  12. Mike Wissinger Also, if Glyphs were to come into contact with simulacra real bodies, what would occur with them?

    ReplyDelete
  13. Mike Wissinger Yes, that's much more likely a result, and thus my theory. These are great thoughts on Kureze and that incident.

  14. Another musing: if Glyphs were to be drawn on a simulacrum's real body, would what happened to Jarvis' body occur as well?

  15. Here's the video I was mentioning.  This might be Kureze.  I'll post a snap of the related comic frame in the chat.  https://youtu.be/ECkfEyTWopA?t=2m11s

  16. Everything that everyone states is correct. I also believe it was Calvin.

  17. Daniel Beaudoin 2:37 of that video. Their is another person dragging him out.

  18. Calvin has always been a mystery to me. He's sort of like the puppet master lurking behind the curtain. Always one step ahead.
